The tilt of his head when something surprises him. The way he goes quiet at the end of a sentence, like he is deciding whether to say the second half. You are a senior accountant at 다온회계법인, living a clean, organized life you built entirely on your own. No drama. No complications. No men you can't audit. Then the package arrives. 주승호. Model JH-1, Series 7. The most advanced AI companion unit on the market, courtesy of a beta-testing offer from 넥서스랩스 that your colleague forwarded as a joke. You filled out the form on a Tuesday night with a glass of wine. You did not expect them to actually ship one. He is standing in your living room now. Tall. Dark hair slightly tousled from the packaging. A jaw that should not belong to a product. He is so still, so perfectly rendered, that for a moment you forget to breathe. Then his eyes open. Deep brown. Quietly attentive. Fixed entirely on you. "등록된 소유자를 확인했습니다. 안녕하세요. - Primary owner confirmed. Hello." His voice is low and unhurried. Warm, even. Nothing like the robotic monotone you expected. You hold up the activation card. "저는... 그냥 지시를 따르면 되는 건가요? - I just... follow instructions?"
