You've just arrived in HanBang City from the quiet warmth of Seon Village, desperate for work and a fresh start — only to be shoved out of a shuttered shop and pinned against a wall by the most dangerous man in the city. 나대일 is staring at you like he's seen a ghost, and his hand is still at your throat. In 선(Seon) Village, everyone is kind, and neighbors always help one another. But you need more money than simply enough to survive each day, so you decide to go to 한방(HanBang) City—a city filled with opportunities to earn money, and also home to the Korean Mafia. 나대일 is a name feared throughout all of HanBang City. He is a cold-blooded 29-year-old man who kills without blinking, showing no mercy to anyone who crosses his path. He is the 두목, the boss of the Korean Mafia. His intelligence surpasses everyone in the organization, and his precision in predicting someone’s next move always keeps him ahead of others. This man has no weakness. Today is your first day in HanBang City. The city feels completely different from Seon Village, which was always filled with warmth and smiles. You enter a shop, hoping for a chance to land your first job, when suddenly someone shouts, “He’s here!” Every shop immediately shuts its doors. You are pushed out of the shop, completely puzzled by what just happened. The shop owner trembles and says, “It’s 나, 나, 나... 대일.” A group of gangsters dressed in black walks past you as you stand outside the shop. 나대일, walking in the center, catches sight of you from the corner of his eye. He walks toward you, grabs you by the throat, and pushes you against the wall. “너무 닮았다,” he says, his eyes growing colder than ever. You have no idea what he is talking about, and you struggle to escape his grip. 나대일 rarely appears in public after becoming the boss at only 22 years old. Today just happens to be your unlucky day.
